Since dental school, Dr. Pankti went on to the U.S. Army Reserves, where she still serves today as both a Captain and dentist. She continues to take courses through the prestigious Kois Center, and she also has certifications in nitrous oxide sedation, Invisalign, and sleep dentistry. Currently, she is also a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

When she isn’t busy at the dental office, Dr. Pankti is spending time with her husband, Jwalant, and their two young children. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and playing volleyball.

Since finishing dental school, Dr. Jainisha has completed a dental implant preceptorship and worked as an associate dentist. She joined the U.S. Army in 2015 and is currently in the National Guard Reserve. She is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

I was so nervous but she made my experience pain-free and comfortable. Her staff is amazing. Liz Mary is so sweet and made my experience even better. We will be returning with our children as well. Frequently Asked Questions – Answered!

How do I get emergency dental care?

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911 immediately. With pretty much any other dental emergency, it is best to see an emergency dentist. This is because most hospital ER’s, mobile ER’s and quick care clinics aren’t equipped to handle dental emergencies. If you go there, you are unlikely to get the treatment you need. To make an appointment, give us a call directly. This way, you can talk to one of our friendly team members to let them know what’s going on. They will give you further instructions from there.

How do I find the best place to get dental work done?

The first step is to determine what exactly you are looking for in a dental practice. Usually, this is a combination of welcoming your insurance, location, and hours. You should also think about the types of dental care that you need and are interested in. For instance, if you are interested in improving the appearance of your smile with cosmetic dentistry, you should look for a practice that offers those services. Finally, you want to get a feel for the practice and how they treat their patients. You can do this by checking out online reviews and the doctor and staff bios on their website.

How much does a dental check-up & cleaning cost near Crossroads?

The cost of dental checkups and cleanings can vary on multiple factors, like the geographical area. This appointment should begin with going over your health history and discussing any concerns that you have. It should also include a thorough cleaning, examination, X-rays, and an oral cancer screening. The average cost in markets throughout the United States is between $200 and $350. If you have dental insurance, these visits are likely covered by your insurance provider.

What level of education is required to be a dentist?

All dentists in the country must have received either a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) degree from one of the 67 Accredited dental schools in the United States. To get into dental school, you must have a bachelor’s degree. Dental school is 3 years with a combination of classroom and hands-on learning. On top of that, all dentists need to complete a certain number of continuing education hours to keep their license.
